1. What do you think is the biggest political issue this campaign season in Rhode Island?

The biggest political issue this year is, has RI had enough of old school insider politics?  Are enough people angry about unresponsive self serving leaders where they are going to go to the polls and finally kick these leaches out of office?  We will find out starting Tuesday, "because I know them" is no longer an acceptable reason to vote for someone...time to get up and get them out.

2. What do we need to do to improve Rhode Island's economy?

We need to control the budget by ending the out of control spending starting with all grant programs.  If these items are worthy of our money they should be part of the budget not handed out as political favors.  The economy can be jump started by lowering the sales tax back to 5% increasing spending along our boarders,  eliminating the excise tax and paying for it with the monies saved by getting rid of the grant program and other common sense budget cuts, and by stopping the tolls program which will force companies to leave our state.  Start with a budget that's @ 3 billion less than what we have now, add in our essential programs, see what's left, add in our non essential programs until we reach the budgeted number, whatever we don't have money for must be cut.  It will be painful, people will be unhappy that the gravy train is slowing down, but it must be done to bring us inline with our neighboring states.

3. What is the greatest challenge facing Rhode Island as state?

The greatest challenge facing our state is fortitude.  Do RI voters have enough of it to get up, go vote, and kick out the infections killing our state with tolls, 38 studios, taxes, spending, etc...will the people act and force change?  It starts with us, if our leaders are not voting the way we want them too, change the leaders...

4. Why are you running for office?

I am running for office because I promised my unresponsive representative, Eileen Naughton, that if she voted for tolls, I would run against her so she would not run unopposed again.

5. Who is your inspiration?

I am inspired by everyone who is getting up and saying no more.  I hear it daily, time to get them out, this inspires me to run.  Hopefully I can inspire people to vote.
