It is a retrospective of that team’s season, as well as a history of the school’s basketball program, which was itself responsible for drawing the local talent that propelled the 1973 Friars to the Final Four of the NCAA Basketball Tournament.
About Lonardo
Lonardo has authored both fiction and nonfiction books in a variety of genres, from true crime to romance.
As a freelance writer, he often collaborated with people to help them write and publish their biographies, memoirs, or to tell of a particularly compelling personal experience. Most involve local individuals.
Lonardo has had more than a dozen titles published.
He studied filmmaking/screenwriting at Columbia College Hollywood, earned an A.S. from Mount Ida College and a B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island.
He lives in Lincoln with his wife and son.
