The Brown Bears football team fell to Harvard 42-7 on Friday night at Harvard Stadium in the first Ivy League game of the year. The close game turned ugly after Brown Coach James Perry decided to go for a 4th and 1 at the Brown 30 with under a minute in the first half. Brown was only down 14-7 at the time.

Harvard stopped Brown took over and scored a touchdown before the half and the momentum was gone - it was all Harvard from there. The coaching decision was perplexing.

"Hats off to Harvard, who is a terrific football team. We practice and play hard, but, other than the first series, didn't run the ball well. We tried running in critical moments that didn't work. We'll get better,” said Perry after the game.
