Brown Lacrosse's Molloy & Kelly Named Top Player and Goaltender in Nation

Brown Lacrosse attackman Dylan Molloy and goalie Jack Kelly were named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Outstanding Player and Outstanding Goalie after the Bears completed one of their best seasons in program history, advancing to the NCAA Final Four. 

Brown fell to Maryland on Saturday, 15-14 in overtime in the Final Four game which saw Dylan Molloy play on a broken foot. He is expected to haver surgery on Tuesday. 

Overall, Brown tallied a program record 16 wins and reached the Final Four for the first time since 1994.

Dylan Molloy 

Molloy earned the USILA's Lt. Raymond Enners Outstanding Player Award an the Lt. Col. J.I. Turnbull Outstanding Attackman Award. He is the first Brown player to earn the USILA's Outstanding Player Award and the second to be named Attackman of the Year since Darren Lowe did it in 1991.

Molloy is a first team all-american and led the country in points and assists while ranking third int he country in goals with 62. 

Molloy is also a Tewaaraton Award Finalist and is the favorite to win  the award. 

Jack Kelly 

Jack Kelly
Kelly was also named a first team all-american and led the country in save percentage. He is a two-time All-Ivy and All-New England selection. 

Kelly joins Brown goalie greats Kelly Dick Alter (1966), Greg Cattrano (1997) and Jordan Burke (2009) as USILA Outstanding Goalie Award recipients.

Kelly finishes his careerr with a 673 saves, a Brown record.
