Bryant Football Takes on Fordham in Home Opener

The Bryant University football team is set to play its first home game of the season on Saturday afternoon when they host Fordham.

Both Bryant and Fordham enter the game with 0-2 records.

Game time is set for 1 p.m.

Bryant vs Fordham

The Rams and Bulldogs will meet for the fifth time in program history on Saturday, with Bryant holding a 3-1 series lead.

The Bulldogs have won the last three games, including last season when kicker Luke Samperi nailed a 42-yard field goal with time expiring to get the win.

Bryant Offense

In two games, the Bulldogs offense is averaging just 6.5 points, 171 passing yards and 79 rushing yards per game.

Starting quarterback Chris Hindle has completed 28 of his 53 pass attempts for 205 yards with three interceptions.

The Bulldogs offense will look to senior wide receiver Vincent Nisivoccia.

Nisivoccia is ranked ninth nationally with 174 all-purpose yards per game. He has also hauled in eight passes in each of the last two games.

Sophomore running back Daniel Adeboboye is averaging 66 yards per game out of the backfield.

Against Albany, he rushed for a career-high 79 yards.

Bryant Defense

In two games, Bryant’s defense is giving up an average of 40 points, 145 passing yards, and 304 rushing yards per game.

The Bulldogs defense will be led by senior Jesse Nemerowicz, who posted 11 tackles last week at Albany.

He now has 244 career tackles, ranking third among active FCS players with 8.3 tackles per game.
