Hockey legend and Hall of Famer Gordie Howe passes away at 88 years old on Friday morning.

Howe, known as "Mr. Hockey," had a storied career in the National Hockey League with the Detroit Red Wings and in the World Hockey Association.

With the Wings, How won four Stanley Cups and scored over 800 goals before he retired at the age of 52 in 1980.
