On Sunday, it was reported by NBC's Al Michaels that Brady offered to have Brown stay at his house until he gets settled.

However, Brown is now facing allegations of sexual assault and rape, as GoLocalProv reported.

Brady was asked if he had anything to say on Brown’s allegations and replied “no.”

When the reporter followed up by asking “Not a word?”

Brady replied, “Didn’t I just say that?"

Brown officially joined the Patriots on Monday after being released by the Oakland Raiders on Saturday afternoon.

His locker is two away from Brady's.

Brown Practices With Patriots

As GoLocalProv reported, Brown practiced with the Patriots on Wednesday despite the allegations of sexual assault and rape.

“He’s a very productive receiver. He’s done a lot of things in the league, he’s been a great player for a long time,” said Brady.

He added, “Like a lot of new players, we are just trying to get up to speed, there’s a lot to learn. Coming in this time of year is challenging and happens a lot with different players changing teams and so forth, so we’re just trying to do the best we can do.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked if Brown will play on Sunday against the Dolphins.

Belichick replied, "we will take it one day at a time."

Brown's Future

According to the Washington Post, the NFL is considering placing Brown on the commissioner’s exempt list.

A player put on that list can't play in games and cannot practice, but can go to team meetings and be at the team’s facility if the team allows.

Players previously placed on that list include Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, and Greg Hardy.

It is unclear when the NFL will make that decision.
