Tom Brady
Tom Brady's Deflategate appeal has been rejected by a federal appeals court on Wednesday, leaving Brady and the Patriots with one hope left and that is to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Brady was asking for re-hearing in front of the full 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals after a three judge panel reinstated Brady's 4-game suspension back in April.

Barring an overturn by the Supreme Court, Brady will be eligible to play in the preseason and in training camp but will not play his first regular season game until Sunday, October 9 when the Patriots visit Cleveland.

Patriots training camp is set to open in later this month with July 28 being the first practice that is open to the public.

Tom Brady's original 4 game suspension was overturned in September of 2015 by Judge Richard Berman. The NFL then decided to appeal further.

The Patriots signed Brady to a two-year extension in February that would keep him in New England through 2019.
