Red Sox pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez gave up seven runs, including four home runs, in 5 2/3 innings to help the Orioles build a 7-1 lead by the sixth inning.

In the top of the 9th, the Red Sox offense came alive.

After Christian Vazquez drove in Hanley Ramirez to make the score 7-2, Jackie Bradley Jr. belted a three-run home run to make the score 7-5.

However, Boston could not keep the rally going.

At the next at bat, Pablo Sandoval grounded out to third baseman Manny Machado to end the game.

Rodriguez would pick up the loss, snapping his four-game winning streak.

Series Continues
