URI built a 28-7 lead by halftime and never let the Black Bears (6-5, 5-2 CAA Football) back into the game. Running backs Antwain Littleton, Jr. and Brendan Barrow each ran for two touchdowns. Devin Farrell threw for two more touchdowns and 221 yards as Rhode Island won its fifth straight game.

With the victory, Rhode Island moved within one game of the program's first perfect season in CAA Football. URI has not lost a league game since Nov. 9 of 2024, when it fell to Delaware, 24-21.

Devin Farrell was 16-of-22 for 221 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Farrell moved into fourth place in program history with 32 touchdown passes, passing Derek Cassidy (31 from 2005-08).
