People on the Move: Ryan Mulhearn and Gianna Marchetti Join Duffy & Sweeney

Duffy & Sweeney, a Providence-based law firm, announced that Ryan Mulhearn and Gianna Marchetti have joined the firm as associates.

 

Mulhearn is active in the Real Estate & Land Use and Litigation practice areas at Duffy & Sweeney. He focuses on commercial litigation, complex business disputes, real estate development and land use litigation.

 

He is a 2024 honors graduate of the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a 2021 graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. He completed internships in DC and Boston at national law firms and at the Rhode Island Supreme and Superior Courts.

 

A resident of Warwick, he is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

 

 

 

Marchetti is active in the Business Law group at D&S. She is a 2024 magna cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School and a 2020 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Rhode Island.

 

During law school, she received several Jurisprudence Awards, a Distinguished Brief Award, and an honorable mention for an Oral Advocate Award. She has held several student attorney, intern, and law clerk positions, including at the Suffolk University Transactional Clinic, Charleston (South Carolina) Pro Bono.

 

Legal Services, the Housing Authority of the City of Charleston, and Fay Law Associates.

 

A resident of Smithfield, she is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
