9-Year-Old Girl Abducted in Providence Returned Back Home; Police Searching for Suspect

Nissan SUV linked to the abduction of a 9-year-old
Providence police are asking for help in finding a 9-year-old girl who was abducted on Monday.

"At approximately 3:00 p.m. [Monday}, October 5, 2020, a 9-year-old female was abducted after exiting her school bus and proceeded to walk in the area in the area of Grover and Merino Streets," said police is an alert to the media.

According to the police, the suspect responsible is believed to be a 20-40-year-old Hispanic male wearing all black with black hair operating a silver Nissan SUV. The victim was later returned to a nearby location and police are actively looking for the subject and vehicle involved related to this incident.
