It was a year of change-makers.

In 2023, there were some remarkable accomplishments, some breakthrough stars, and a few disappointments.

There were Rhode Islanders who beat the odds and worked to tackle the toughest challenges. 

 

From talented artists and athletes to big dreamers, some people had a big impact on the state. 

 

“Each year, we recognize those who made a difference,” said Josh Fenton, GoLocal CEO and co-founder. “The list includes some who are well-known, as well as those who emerged in the past year.”

 

This year, the age range from youngest to oldest is about 60 years.
