The Brown Bears men’s basketball team put up 50 first-half points en route to an 82-61 win over San Diego State on Saturday night in San Diego, California.

"Everyone on our team has been impressive over the last two weeks. The game really turned on the 26-0 run and the ball went in the basket. Our guys have really bought into our defensive effort. It's a fun group to coach,” said Brown head coach Mike Martin after the game.

The win improves Brown to 9-4 on the season. And, the Bears now have an RPI rating of 82.

However, from that point, it was all Brown.

Brown would take a 50-22 lead into the break.

In the second half, the Bears would get back-to-back threes from Desmond Cambridge to take a 58-24 lead.

San Diego State would not get closer than 20 points the rest of the way.

Cambridge led the Bears with 25 points in the game on 9 of 15 shooting from the field.
