Brown Lax Falls to Denver 15-9 in NCAA Tournament First Round

The Brown Bears men's lacrosse team fell to Denver 15-9 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday afternoon in Denver. 

The Bears out shot Denver 19-10 in the first quarter but fell behind 5-1. Brown's only goal in the quarter was scored by Dylan Molloy who set a new Brown record for goals in  a season with 60. Molloy would add two more goals in the game to lead Brown.

However, Denver's offense was too much in this game as the Pioneers would lead 10-2 at the half  and go on to win 15-9.

The Pioneers were led by Connor Cannizzaro who netted five goals to lead all scorers. 

The Bears finish the season with a 12-5 record, just one win shy of the school record for wins.
