With the game tied at six, Columbia went on a 15-6 run to go up 21-12 with 10:24 left in the half. Cedric Kuakumensah nailed a three pointer to cut the Brown deficit to 21-16 but the Lions would then go on a 10-0 run to blow the game open at 31-16.

Cedric Kuakumensah led Brown with 20 points and six rebounds in the game while Rafael Maia followed up with 14 and six rebounds.
Columbia was led by Maodo Lo who netted a game high 35 points. Lo's 35 points is the highest any Ivy League player has scored this season.
Brown returns to action on Saturday night when they host the Cornell Big Red at the Pizzitola Center. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.

Five Takeaways From Brown's 76-59 Loss to Columbia
Rafael Maia
Rafael Maia netted 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field and 4-of-5 from the free throw line.
Maia also pulled down six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in the game.
Maia has reached double-figures in three of the last four games for Brown.
Cedric Kuakumensah
Cedric Kuakumensah led the Brown Bears with 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field, including 2-of-5 from three-point land.
However, only five of Kuakumensah's points came in the first half in which he played 14 minutes.
Unfortunately for Brown, the 15 points he had in the second half made no difference as the game was a blowout by halftime.
Kuakumensah also grabbed six rebounds and had three blocks in the game.
Maodo Lo
Columbia's Maodo Lo netted 35 points on 14-of-20 shooting from the field including 3-of-4 from three-point land.
Lo scored 24 of his points in the first half, only losing to the entire Brown team by four points. Brown scored 28 points as a team in the he first frame.
Lo's 35 points is the highest point total in a game by any Ivy League player this season.
Hats off to Lo for an impressive performance, the best of the Ivy League season so far.
Guard Play
The Brown back court of J.R. Hobbie and Tavon Blackmon went a combined 2-of-12 from the field, including 1-of-6 from three-point land for a combined total of six points in the game.
Blackmon had been playing well coming into this game having reached double-figures in six of the previous seven games for Brown.
J.R. Hobbie's hot and cold shooting continues.
6,12,5,17,6,21,3 are Hobbie's point totals over the last six games for the Brown.
Turnovers/points off
Tyler Williams led the Brown Bears with six turnovers in the game and Brown as a team totaled 15.
Nine of the 15 turnovers came on Columbia steals.
Off of those 15 turnovers, Columbia cashed in for 22 points.
Meanwhile, Columbia turned the ball over seven times and the Bears only cashed in for five points.
