Columbia Runs Past Brown, 86-65

The Brown Bears men's basketball team (9-12, 0-4 IVY) fell 86-65 on the road to (10-8, 2-2) Columbia on Saturday night. The Bears have now lost four straight games and five of their last six.

With 6:44 left to  play in the game, Brown trailed Columbia 64-63  after Steven Spieth knocked down two free throws. However, once again the Brown offense would disappear  and Columbia would go on a  21-2 run to win the game 86 - 65.

Cedric Kuakumensah and Tavon Blackmon led Brown with 13 points each while Kuakumensah also grabbed 11 rebounds to notch a double-double. 

Columbia was led by Klye Castlin who had a game high 21 points. 

Brown returns to action on Friday, February 6 when they host Harvard at the Pizzitola Center. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.
