Brown Stadium Set to Host the NCAA Lacrosse Quarterfinals on Saturday

Brown Stadium in Providence is set to welcome four of the top college lacrosse teams in the country on Saturday, May 21 when it hosts the NCAA Lacrosse Quarterfinals starting at noon time.

The first game will feature Syracuse taking on top seeded Maryland and the second game will feature local favorite Brown taking on Navy.

"The lacrosse community is really excited about this, the opportunity to host the NCAA quarterfinals here in little Rhode Island. When you look at the teams coming, we have a great Syracuse team, we have the number 1 team in the country in Maryland, a historic Navy team and a local team. The lineup could not have worked out better," said Brown Head Coach Lars Tiffany. 

Syracuse and Maryland will get things started at noon time while Brown and Navy will face-off at 2:30 p.m. 

The winner of the two games will head to the Final Four that takes place over Memorial Day Weekend at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
