PC's Dunn Earns Big East Player of the Week Honors

Providence College Friars guard Kris Dunn has been named the Big East Player of the Week. Dunn receives this honor for the first time in his career. 

So far this season, Dunn has averaged 14 points, five rebounds, seven assists and just under three steals per game to help lead the Friars to a 13-4 record and a 3-1 conference play record. 

The Friars are riding a two game winning streak in Big East play after defeating Butler on the road last week and Georgetown at home on Saturday, January 10. In those games, Dunn averaged 20 points, seven assists and five rebounds including a career high 25 points against Butler. Dunn scored 20 of his 25 points in the second half.

Kris Dunn leads the Big East in assists and steals and ranks fifth in the country in assists and ninth in steals per game. 

The Friars return to action on Wednesday, January 14 when they host St. Johns at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
