NEW: Bryant Alum Joe O'Shea Signs Pro Contract in Dutch Basketball League

Bryant basketball alum Joe O'Shea has signed a professional contract with the Aris Leeuwarden of the Dutch Basketball League in the Netherlands.

O'Shea will join the team  at the end of August after he completes the Bryant MBA program.

In three seasons with the Bulldogs, O'Shea averaged nine points and five rebounds per game and shot 46 percent from the floor and was named to the All- Northeast Conference Third Team in 2014-15.

O'Shea helped lead Bryant to their first ever Division I postseason win after hitting a buzzer beating three pointer to send the game to overtime. The shot will go down as one of, if not the biggest shot in Bryant basketball history.

O'Shea ranked inside the NEC's top-20  in scoring, rebounding, shooting percentage, assists, free throw percentage, 3-point percentage, defensive rebounds and minutes played in the 2014-15 season.

Bulldog's in the Pro's

Joe O'Shea becomes the fourth Bulldog in the last three seasons to ink a professional contract upon graduating. The other three players are Corey Maynard, Alex Francis and Vlad Kondratyev.
