Patriots Sign Former Steelers Linebacker Harrison

Harrison visited Gillette Stadium on Tuesday after being released by the Steelers on Friday.
To make room for Harrison, the Patriots have released linebacker Trevor Reilly.

Harrison joins the Patriots as the oldest defensive player in the NFL at the age of 39.
This season with the Steelers, he has played just 40 snaps in five games, only 11 of those snaps have come since week seven.
He has one sack and three tackles on the year.
For his career, Harrison has 82.5 sacks and 570 tackles in 15 seasons, 14 of which were spent in Pittsburgh, the other in Cincinnati.
Patriots Close Regular Season
The Patriots finish the regular season on Sunday, December 31 at home against the New Jets.
A win would give the Patriots the #1 overall seed in the AFC.
Game time is set for 1 p.m.
Patriots have released LB Trevor Reilly to make room for James Harrison. Reilly had been inactive Sunday.
