URI’s Hot Shooting Too Much for UMass

The University of Rhode Island men’s basketball team beat the University of Massachusetts 88 to 82 at the Ryan Center on Wednesday night.

 

The Rams came out blistering hot and shot 57% from the field.

And, the Rams shot 39% from behind the 3-point line.

 

Sebastian Thomas led the Rams in scoring with 22 points — 6 of 11 from the field- adding a team-high eight rebounds and seven assists.

 

He added four steals.

 

Jaden House added 19 points, and David Green put up 18.

 

The Rams are now 15-6 on the season and 4-5 in the Atlantic-10.
