A man was shot and killed in Providence on Sunday morning.

The incident took place on Admiral Street by Berkshire Street.

The shooting reportedly occurred shortly after 5 AM.

Providence Police announced late on Friday that they apprehended Gary. E Maddox III, age 18, for his involvement in the shooting that occurred recently on Julian Street.

Two teenagers were injured. 

Maddox was charged with several firearms offenses.
