The Bears would trail 48-43 at the half, fighting back from a 12 point deficit from earlier in the half when Maine used a 12-0 run to go up 27-15 after the game was tied at 15.

The Bears were led by Tavon Blackmon who poured in 20 points and dished out six assists in th game while Jason Massey followed up with 17 points of his own.

For the second straight game, Steven Spieth flirted with a triple-double, posting 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the loss.
Spieth's 17 points came on 5 of 7 shooting from the field.
There have only been two triple-doubles ever in Ivy League History.
Cedric Kuakumensah
Despite Brown's recent struggles, Cedric Kuakumensah is on a heck of a run. Kuakumensah posted his third double-double in four games with 16 points and 10 rebounds against Maine.
Kuakumensah's 16 points came on 6 of 11 shooting from the field and 4 of 6 from the free throw line.
Kuakumensah also recorded 4 blocked shots in the contest.
Obi Okolie
For the second time in three games, Obi Okolie came off the bench and gave Brown a big spark.
Okolie poured in 17 points on 7 of 12 shooting from the field.
Okolie also grabbed six rebounds and recorded one block and one steal.
Okolie has only played four games this season for Brown and has reached double figures in two of them.
Tavon Blackmon
Tavon Blackmon led Brown in scoring for the second time in three games, netting 20 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the field, including 3 of 4 from thee-point land.
Blackmon also dished out six assists, grabbed 3 rebounds and had 2 steals.
Blackmon now has 279 career assists, 10th best all-time in Brown basketball history.
2nd Chance Points
Brown gave a great effort on the offensive glass, pulling down 10 offensive boards, while Maine pulled down 11.
The difference was the Maine converted for 12 second chance points while the Bears were only able to convert for five points.
Brown lost the overall rebounding battle 40-38.
