5 Takeaways From PC's 94-73 Win Over Brown

Rodney Bullock records a double-double in PC's win.
The Providence College Friars (3-0) defeated the (1-3) Brown University 94-73 on Saturday night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. Coming into the game, Providence had lost two of the last three games to Brown.

"Overall it was a decent performance by us, this is always a nervous game for me against Brown. I'm pretty sure I have the worst winning percentage in the history of Providence College against them so I'm the happiest guy in the room," said PC head coach Ed Cooley after the game.

The Friars led by seven, 42-35, with one minute left in the half after a free throw by Kris Dunn. The Brown Bears turned the ball over in their final possession of the half and Kris Dunn found freshman Ricky Council who knocked down an three-pointer with time expiring to give the Friars a 10 point lead, 45-35, going into the locker room.

That three pointer put a stranglehold on the game for the Friars as Brown would not get closer than eight points the rest of the game and PC would cruise to the 94-73 win.
