"Overall it was a decent performance by us, this is always a nervous game for me against Brown. I'm pretty sure I have the worst winning percentage in the history of Providence College against them so I'm the happiest guy in the room," said PC head coach Ed Cooley after the game.

The Brown Bears turned the ball over in their final possession of the half and Kris Dunn found freshman Ricky Council who knocked down an three-pointer with time expiring to give the Friars a 10 point lead, 45-35, going into the locker room.
That three pointer put a stranglehold on the game for the Friars as Brown would not get closer than eight points the rest of the game and PC would cruise to the 94-73 win.
The Leaders
Rodney Bullock led the Friars with 24 points on 9 of 12 shooting from the field and 5 of 6 from the free throw line while also pulling down ten rebounds. Freshman Ryan Fazekas threw in a career high 17 points on 6 of 9 shooting from the field, including 5 of 8 from three - point land.
Jason Massey and Travis Fuller led the Brown Bears with 12 points each in the game. Tavon Blackmon followed up with 11.
Next Up
The Providence College Friars return to action on Monday, November 23 when they host NJIT at 6:30 p.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
"I don't think our fans understand how good of a team they are. They are senior laden, won their last two games by 14 points were in the game against Kentucky for a half. We have a hell of a game on Monday, they play a very unique style," said Ed Cooley after the game.
The Brown Bears return to action on Tuesday, November 24 when they host New Hampshire at the Pizzitola Center. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

5 Takeaways From PC's 94-73 Win Over Brown
Steven Spieth
Last year against the Friars, Steven Spieth had a big game defending Kris Dunn in root to a Brown win.
This year, it was a different story.
Spieth had three points, three fouls, three rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes of play. Spieth was on and off the bench throughout the game.
Kuakumensah
Cedric Kuakumensah has been a double-double machine so far this season for Brown, however, against the Friars, two early fouls saw him play only 8 minutes in the first half and eventually only 17 minutes total and he never got into rhythm.
Kuakumensah finished with seven points, four rebounds and four assists in the game.
Providence out-rebounded Brown 41-29 in the game including 10 offensive rebounds resulting in five second chance points.
Rodney Bullock
No one knew what to expect from Rodney Bullock coming into this season and so far through three games, he has been impressive.
Bullock recorded his first double-double of the season with a game high 24 points and 10 rebounds in the game.
Bullock's 24 points came on 9 of 12 shooting from the field and 5 of 6 from the free throw line in 30 minutes of play.
Ryan Fazekas
Ryan Fazekas had the best game of his young college career, netting 17 points on 6 of 9 shooting from the field, including 5 of 8 from three-point land.
So far, it looks like Fazekas is going to be a major part of the Friars offense if he can continue to knock down open threes, which he will get to because just about every team is going to bring two guys to Kris Dunn.
26 Assists
The Friars had 26 assists on 33 made shots from the field against Brown.
"26 assists is a big time number, usually we are happy with 17 or 18, but 26 is a big time number" said Friars head coach Ed Cooley after the game.
Most of the assist credit goes to Kris Dunn who nearly had a triple-double in this one. Dunn had 10 assists, 11 points, seven rebounds and six steals.
Dunn's 11 points came on 3 of 9 shooting from the field and 4 of 6 from the free throw line.
