5 Takeaways From the Patriots Win Over Dallas

Dion Lewis
The New England Patriots (4-0) defeated the (2-3) Dallas Cowboys 30-6 on Sunday evening in Dallas. The win is the Patriots fifth straight win over the Cowboys dating back to 1996.

"Defensively, they gave us a look that we really hadn't seen them do before. They played a lot of the game in a dime defense, kind of a 3-2 look with McClain and Lee in the middle with six defensive backs.  I thought Josh {McDaniel} and the offensive staff did a good job -- and the players -- making some in-game adjustments to deal with the new look that they gave us there," said Patriots head coach Bill Belichick after the game.

The Patriots used a field goal at the end of the first half, followed by a touchdown in the opening drive of the second half to give themselves a 20-3 lead.
