New England's only points in the quarter came on a Stephen Gostkowski field goal to give New England an eight point lead at 40-32.
Buffalo got the ball back with just over a minute left and a chance to tie the game but New England's Logan Ryan picked off Tyrod Taylor to close out the game.
1st Half Takeover
The Buffalo Bills scored on the very first offensive series of the game, running the ball right up the field, to take a 7-0 lead. After that, the Patriots offense scored 21 straight points starting with a Brady Pass to Edelman followed by a Dion Lewis run and then a Brady pass to Gronkowski for his fourth touchdown of the season.
After a Buffalo touchdown, Stephen Gostkowski kicked a field goal to give the Patriots their halftime lead of 24-13.

The Patriots return to Gillette Stadium on Sunday, September 27 when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars. Kick off is set for 1 p.m.
