UPDATED: Barrington Little League's World Series Game Moved to Tuesday Due to Weather

Barrington's Little League World Series game moved to Tuesday.
Due to a weather cancellation on Sunday, Barrington Little League’s World Series game has been moved to Tuesday.

Barrington was originally scheduled to play the loser of Sunday’s game between Hawaii and New Jersey on Monday, however, that game was suspended due to rain.

Hawaii ended up beating New Jersey 6-0 on Monday.

Barrington will now face New Jersey on Tuesday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m.

The game was previously scheduled for 3 p.m.

Barrington is the fifth Rhode Island team in the last six years to reach the World Series joining Cumberland, Cranston West, Warwick North, and Coventry.

Barrington advanced to the Little League World Series after beating Goffstown, New Hampshire in the regional final in Bristol

The Goffstown coach claims Barrington should have been disqualified for stealing signs.

The Barrington team denies the charges.

After losing to Virginia in the World Series opener, Barrington bounced back with a 6-1 win over Kentucky to avoid elimination.
