On Yale’s first play from scrimmage, quarterback Kurt Rawlings hit Mason Tipton for 28-yard touchdown pass tome the score 34-28.

The Bulldogs went up by a 42-28 margin after three quarters on Rawlings' third touchdown pass to JP Shohfi.

The Bears would get back within 42-35 in the fourth quarter, but could not get any closer.

Yale would add two more scores in the quarter to cruise to the win.

Brown Rallies to Take Lead

The first quarter was all Yale as the Bulldogs built a 17-0 lead on a 35-yard field goal by Sam Turkerman, followed by a 19-yard touchdown run by Zane Dudekand a 23-yard touchdown pass from Rawlings to Shohfi.

Trailing 17-0 in the second quarter, the Bears would rally.

Perry connected with Emerson Logie on a 17-yard touchdown pass with 12:25 left in the quarter to make the score 17-7.

The Bears would further cut the lead when Perry would call his own number and run 49 yards for a touchdown to make the score 17-14 with 2:58 left in the half.

The Bulldogs would answer when Rawlings again connected with Shohfi to put Yale up 24-14 near the end of the half.

Yale’s drive took just 69 seconds.

Again, Brown would respond.

Perry drove the Bears 75-yards and capped off the drive with a 21-yard touchdown pass to LJ Harriott to make the score 24-21 at the half.

After Yale went up 27-21 early in the third quarter, Perry again drove Brown 76-yards and finished the drive with a 22-yard touchdown pass to senior Dan Gemmell to give the Bears a 28-27 lead in the third quarter.

The drive was sparked by Perry’s 54-yard pass to Harriott.

The lead was Brown’s first of the game.
