The Bryant Bulldogs return to action on Saturday when they travel to Connecticut to visit Sacred Heart.

Sacred Heart comes into the game with a 4-3 overall record and 2-0 in NEC play.

They are the only unbeaten team remaining in the conference.

Bryant enters the game with a record of 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the NEC following a 42-41 thriller last week against Fordham.

Game time is set for 1 p.m.

Bryant vs Sacred Heart

The Bulldogs and Pioneers will meet for the 11th time in program history on Saturday.

Bryant has won each of the last two meetings, tying the all-time series at 5-5.

Last season, Bryant erased an eight-point third-quarter deficit with 27-straight points and then held on for a 48-45 victory in Smithfield.

Bryant Offense

The Bulldogs offense ranks second in the conference averaging 32 points per game and 438 yards of total offense.

Against Fordham, quarterback Price Wilson completed over 30 passes for the fourth time in his career, finishing with 380 passing yards, the fourth-most in a single game in program history.

He comes into Saturday’s game as the conference leader in passing yards with 1,992 and passing touchdowns with 17.

Senior Tom Kennedy is looking to build off his performance last in week in which he caught a program record 13 passes for 221 yards.

Bryant Defense

On the defensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs give up an average of 38 points and 436 yards per game.

The defense is led by Thomas Costigan, who racked up 12 tackles last week and leads the Bulldogs with 69 stops on the season.

Down the line from Costigan is Tomas Wright.

Wright leads the country with 9.5 sacks and is second in the country in tackles for loss with 14.5.
