The Rams trailed 14-10 early in the frist half before a Jared Terrell three-pointer and free throws from Earl Watson sparked a 16-0 Rhody run that would give them the lead for good.
In the second half, Richmond would get as close as six points, 49-43, before the Rams would ice the game with a 15-4 run over the next seven minutes. URI would open up as much as a 19 point second half lead and cruise to the win.
The Leaders
URI was led by Jarvis Garrett and Jared Terrell who each netted 18 points in the game. Garrett was four for four from beyond the three-point arc.
Hassan Martin returned to the line up for URI and played 27 minutes off the bench, netting 10 points and recording five blocked shots.

URI returns to action on Sunday, January 10 when they travel to Philly to take on Saint Josephs in their first A 10 road game.
