The URI Rams (12-10, 4-5 A10) fell 61-56 to UMass (9-12, 2-7 A10) in overtime on Tuesday night in Massachusetts. URI has dropped three of their last four games.
URI played the game without Kuran Iverson and Jarvis Garrett who both are recovering from injuries.
Four McGlynn hit a three with ten seconds left in the game to give URI a 51-50 lead in the game.
On UMass' next possession, Trey Davis was fouled and made one of his two free throws to tie it up at 51 with three seconds left.
UMass scored the first 6 points of the overtime period and took at 57-51 lead with 1:38 to go.
The Rams would get no closer than five points in the extra frame.

The Rams held an 18-17 lead with 4:45 to play in the first half before UMass ended the half on a 13-5 run to take a 30-23 into the locker room.

URI was led by Jared Terrell who netted 23 points on 7 of 15 shooting from the field and 8 of 11 from the free throw line.
Four McGlynn followed up with 13 points on 3 of 16 shooting from the field, including 2 of 12 from three.
Next up
The Rams return to action on Saturday, February 6 when they visit La Salle. URI beat La Salle in the first meeting at the Ryan Center on January 16.
