URI Falls to UMass 61-56 in OT
URI played the game without Kuran Iverson and Jarvis Garrett who both are recovering from injuries.

On UMass' next possession, Trey Davis was fouled and made one of his two free throws to tie it up at 51 with three seconds left.
UMass scored the first 6 points of the overtime period and took at 57-51 lead with 1:38 to go.
The Rams would get no closer than five points in the extra frame.

The Rams held an 18-17 lead with 4:45 to play in the first half before UMass ended the half on a 13-5 run to take a 30-23 into the locker room.

URI was led by Jared Terrell who netted 23 points on 7 of 15 shooting from the field and 8 of 11 from the free throw line.
Four McGlynn followed up with 13 points on 3 of 16 shooting from the field, including 2 of 12 from three.
Next up
The Rams return to action on Saturday, February 6 when they visit La Salle. URI beat La Salle in the first meeting at the Ryan Center on January 16.

McGlynn hit a late three-pointer to give the Rams a 51-50 lead with 10 seconds to play.
Short handed
The Rams were without Kuran Iverson and Jarvis Garrett in the game after they both suffered injuries in the previous game.
Iverson is dealing with concussion symptoms and Garrett suffered a jaw injury and also lost teeth.
It is unclear when they are expected to return.
Jared Terrell
Jared Terrell led URI with 23 points on 7 of 15 shooting from the field and 8 of 11 from the free throw line while also grabbing 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
Terrell has scored at least 20 points in three straight games for the Rams and has reached double figures in four straight.
Terrell has averaged 13 points per game for URI this season.
Fast Break Points
URI struggled to stop the fast break, giving UMass 15 easy points in the game.
The Rams only got 4 points on the fast break.
2nd Chance Points
The Rams got a huge rebounding performance from Earl Watson who pulled down 14 rebounds in the game, 10 of which came on the defensive end. Watson got the start in place of Kuran Iverson.
URI out rebounded UMass 48-40, grabbing 18 offensive rebounds.
