Trailing 5-4 in the top of the sixth, Boston’s Cristian Vazquez hit a double to right field to put a man on base with one out.
On the very next at-bat, Bradley Jr. belted a two-run home run to right field on the first pitch to give the Red Sox a 6-5 lead.
Bradley Jr. has nine RBIs in the last three games.
After the Astros walked in a run in the top of the seventh to put Boston up 7-5, the Red Sox added another run in the eighth inning when J.D. Martinez singled home Mookie Betts to put Boston up 8-5.
After giving up a run in the top of the 8th to make the score 8-6, Red Sox closer Craig Kimbrel loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth with Houston star Alex Bregman at the plate.
Bregman drilled a line drive to left field only to see Andrew Benintendi make a diving catch to end the game.
It marked the first six-out save of Kimbrel's career.
Price to Start Game 5
Red Sox pitcher David Price will start game five in place of Chris Sale, Red Sox manager Alex Cora confirmed in his postgame press conference.
Sale was removed from the start after going to the hospital following game one with a stomach issue. He is expected to be ready for game six, if there is one.
Game five of the series is set for Thursday, October 18 in Houston.
Price will face Houston ace, Justin Verlander.
Game time is set for 8 p.m.
