VIDEO: Bradley Jr.'s Grand Slam Helps Red Sox Beat Astros 8-2 in Game 3 of ALCS

Jackie Bradley Jr. hit an 8th inning grand slam to give the Red Sox an 8-2 lead.
Jackie Bradley Jr. hit an 8th inning grand slam to help the Boston Red Sox defeat the Houston Astros 8-2 in game three of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) on Tuesday night in Houston. 

The win gives the Red Sox a 2-1 series lead.

With the game tied at two in the sixth inning, Boston’s Steve Pearce hit a solo home run to left field to put the Red Sox up 3-2.

The game remained 3-2 until the eighth inning when Boston broke it open.

With two outs in the inning and the bases loaded, Houston pitcher Roberto Osuna hit Mitch Moreland to walk in a run and give the Red Sox a 4-2 lead.

In the very next at-bat, Bradley Jr. belted a grand slam to right field to give the Red Sox a commanding 8-2 lead.

Bradley Jr. has seven RBIs in the last two games. 

So far in these playoffs, the Red Sox have outscored teams 28-6 on the road in three postseason games. 

Boston starter Nathan Eovaldi went six innings and gave up two earned runs, while striking out four. 

 

 

Game 4 

Game four of the series is set for Wednesday, October 17 in Houston. 

The pitching matchup is Boston's Rick Porcello against Houston's Charlie Morton. 

Game time is set for 8:30 p.m.
