URI Lands a 7’0” — A Game Changer?

Javonte Brown is headed to Kingston to play for the University of Rhode Island men’s basketball team.

Brown played for Western Michigan in 2023-24 after a stop at Texas A&M.

His arrival gives the Rams a big man who can score, rebound, and block shots.

Last season, he averaged 8.8 points per game and 4.2 rebounds in 23 games, but he did not start any of the games.
