URI Loses to One of the Worst Basketball Teams in the Country
The University of Rhode Island men’s basketball team hosted Loyola Chicago on Wednesday at the Ryan Center.
Loyola came into the game ranked among the worst college basketball teams in the country — #310 on KenPom. There are 365 D-I teams.

This is a season low for the Rams, who now fall to 9-5 on the season and 0-1 in the Atlantic 10.
The Rams shot just 34% from the field and anemic 19% from behind the 3-point line.
Jonah Hinton and Tyler Cochran each scored 15 points to lead the Rams.
The Rams trailed 31-27 at halftime.
Under Archie Miller, the Rams are 48-60 and 18-37 in the Atlantic-10.
