Shortly before 10 PM on Monday, police responded to Congdon Street for a robbery report.

According to police, the victim - a 19-year-old male - told officers he had been walking in front of Bagel Gourmet on Meeting Street when he was approached by two men in dark clothing.

The victim said one of the suspects demanded everything he had on him.

He said that when he didn’t hand anything over right away that he was then punched in the face multiple times with a closed fist.

The suspects then reportedly stole cash from the victim and fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.
