According to police, officers responded to Rhode Island Hospital shortly after 1 AM on Saturday.

The victim - a male in his 50s - told police he was walking to the 7-Eleven on Broad Street when he was stabbed from behind.
Police said the victim, who had been transported to the hospital by rescue, had a wound to his neck.
Detectives are currently investigating.
