On Saturday, Brown University football lost to Columbia 21-12 at home and fell to 3-6 and 2-4 in the Ivy League.

With the loss, Brown is assured of yet another losing record in the conference with just one game remaining.

The last time the Bears had a winning record in the conference was 2013 — Barack Obama was President, Lincoln Chafee was Governor of Rhode Island and the biggest news story was the Boston Marathon bombing.

Now, for ten consecutive seasons (the Ivy League did not play in 2020 due to COVID), the Bears have failed to record a winning record in the Ivy League.

During this period, Brown football was 20-55 — a 26% winning percentage.

The Bears have one more game this season at Dartmouth, who is 7-2 overall.
