PC Hockey's Bryson Signs Entry-Level Contract With NHL's Buffalo Sabres

Providence College hockey defensemen Jacob Bryson signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres.

Bryson will skip his final year of collegiate eligibility and report to Buffalo’s minor league affiliate, the Rochester Americans, for the remainder of the season.

His entry-level contract begins in 2019-20.

About Bryson

Bryson completed his junior season with the Friars, earning Second Team Hockey East All-Star honors.

He finished the year with 28 points on four goals and 24 assists in 42 games and served as a tri-captain.

He recorded an assist in all three NCAA Tournament games helping to lead Provident to the Frozen Four, where they lost to Minnesota-Duluth.

Bryson was selected by the Sabres in the fourth round of the 2017 NHL Draft.
