Not only is URI 0-3, but the Rams have now lost to A-10 rivals - two of them are ranked in the bottom third of all D-I teams:
Loyola Chicago ranked #277
George Mason #84
La Salle #237
URI is now tied for last with Fordham in the A-10.
The loss was painfully juxtaposed with the victory by the #4-ranked University of Connecticut's comeback in overtime against Providence College (UConn is led by former URI coach Dan Hurley).
The final score was 79-72 in the La Salle victory, which was played before just 3,074.
The Rams were led by Jonah Hinton with 18 points.
