NEW: Gas Prices Drop 5 Cents

Marking the fourth consecutive decline, gas prices again fell by 5 cents this week according to AAA Southern New England.

The average price of self-serve regular unleaded gas today was $3.87 per gallon, one cent above the national average of $3.88. Prices are still $1.12 more than last year’s state average of 2.75.

Rhode Island gas prices currently have a 31-cent range, from $3.68 to $3.99.
