15-Year-Old Robbed at Gunpoint in Providence - Sneakers, Jewelry Stolen

A 15-year-old was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in Providence on Wednesday. 

The victim told police two suspects demanded his sneakers - Air Jordans - and jewelry, before fleeing the scene.

About Incident

Police were called to Branch Avenue at Veazie Street shortly before 3 PM on Wednesday for a report of a robbery.

The victim - a juvenile male - told police he was outside E-Cubed Academy when he was approached by two male individuals. 

According to the victim, one of the suspects displayed a gun and demanded his sneakers and chain. 

The victim told police the suspects took the items and fled on foot.

Detectives are currently investigating.
