Bryant Football Battles Robert Morris on Saturday on ESPN3

The Bryant Bulldogs will make their longest road trip of the year on Saturday when they visit the Robert Morris Colonials.

The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 2-6 overall and 1-2 in the Northeast Conference, while Robert Morris is 3-4 overall and 2-0 in the conference.

Game time is set for 12 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN3.

Bryant vs Robert Morris

Saturday’s game will be the 12th all-time meeting between the two programs, with Bryant leading the series 9-2.

The Bulldogs have won each of the last three meetings, including last season’s 49-46 victory.

Bryant is also 3-2 when traveling to Robert Morris.

Bryant Offense

The Bryant offense comes into the contest averaging 16 points and 286 total yards per game on the year.

Quarterback Kory Curtis has completed 113 fo 197 passes for 1,165 yards and six touchdowns on the year.

He enters Saturday’s game having completed at least 70 percent of his passes in each of his last two outings.

Grad student Hunter Hill has hauled in 30 catches for 280 yards and three touchdowns on the year.

He is coming off a career-high nine catches last week.

In total, 17 different Bulldogs have caught a pass on the year.

Bryant Defense

The Bulldogs defense heads into Robert Morris giving up an average of 31 points and 411 total yards per game.

They gave up 52 points to Central Connecticut last week.

The defense is led by Tomas Wright, who enters the week with 27.5 career sacks and 40 career tackles for loss in 41 career games.

He is second in program history in sacks, two behind Jeff Covitz.

Jesse Nemerowicz comes into the game with 283 tackles, just two shy of the program record.
