Red Sox Complete Comeback

With the game tied at 5 in the bottom of the 11th, Boston’s Pablo Sandoval started things off with a single off Philadelphia’s Casey Fein. Deven Marrero pinch-ran and moved to second on a sacrifice fly.

After Mookie Betts was intentionally walked, Pedroia hit a groundball single to right field and Marrero was able to beat the throw from Philadelphia's Aaron Altherr with a slide into home plate to give the Red Sox the walk-off win.

Reigning AL Cy Young Award winner Rick Porcello had another rough outing. He gave up five runs on 10 hits in six innings pitched, leaving Boston in a 4-0 hole after the first inning.

The Red Sox rallied with a run in the second, two runs in third and one in the fourth.

A home run by Andrew Benintendi in the third and then his RBI Single in the fourth tied the game at 4, before the Phillies would grab a 5-4 lead in the 5th.

The Red Sox would tie the game at five on a Mookie Betts' RBI double in the 8th inning. It was his third double of the game.

Series Continues

The Red Sox and Phillies continue their series on Tuesday, June 13 when Boston’s David Price faces Ben Lively.

First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
