The two homicides are the city's 17th and 18th of the year.Two people were killed in Providence overnight.
According to police, both homicides were shootings.
One took place off Allens Avenue on O’Connell Street. The victim was reportedly leaving Revel Lounge.

The other occurred on Branch Avenue. Police say the victim was found shot in a vehicle in a Cumberland Farms parking lot.
They mark the city’s 17th and 18th homicides of the year.
Police are not releasing an additional information at this time.
