The Manhattan Transfer at Park Theatre

Tomorrow night, head to Cranston’s Park Theatre for a special show from Jazz-Pop vocal superstars, The Manhattan Transfer. It’s a return to the Park on the heels of their sold out 2012 concert. The ten-time Grammy winners will be performing “The Living Room Sessions,” a retrospective of their 40 years in the music business. Show is at 8PM; tickets start at $35.

Forever Young at Courthouse Center

Also tomorrow night, the Courthouse Center for the Arts in North Kingstown has the region’s top Neil Young Tribute Band, Forever Young. They’re a lot more than a tribute band, re-working many of Young’s songs to suit their style. The ensemble is comprised of a number of RI’s best musicians including Amy Bedard, Dan Lilley, Mark Cutler, Becky Chace, John Amitrano, Leo Dumas, Pete Vendettuoli, and John Fuzek. Tickets are $15 for the 8PM show.

Queen Tribute at Stadium Theatre

While on the topic of great tribute bands, Queen fans will want to head to The Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket tomorrow night for One Night of Queen. The band, Gary Mullen and the Works, does a stellar job of re-creating the Queen experience, and lead singer Mullen bears an uncanny resemblance to legendary front man Freddie Mercury. The show is at 8PM and tickets are $29 and $34.

Dumpstaphunk at Fete

Also tomorrow night, Fete will be rocking to the sounds of Dumpstaphunk, a funky R&B band from New Orleans. The band, led by Ivan Neville of the Neville Brothers, is considered to be among the best funk bands ever to come from The Big Easy. Tickets are $15.50 in advance, $18 at the door.
