With the win, the Bears improve to 3-4 on the season, while Bryant drops to 2-5 overall.

Setting up the Game Winner

Brown’s Steven Spieth converted a layup to give the Bears an 89-83 lead with 2:47 left in the game before Bryant made their run.

With 1:51 left, Ikenna Ndugba converted a layup to cut the Bulldogs deficit to just four points.

After forcing a turnover on Brown’s ensuing possession, sophomore Marcel Pittway converted a layup with 1:02 to play to bring the Bulldogs within two points, and forcing Brown to call a timeout.

Bryant would take their first lead since the 14:40 mark of the second half when Nisre Zouzoua would knock down a three right in front of the Bryant bench with 15 seconds to play in the game, giving the Bulldogs a 90-89 lead.

All before Blackmon would take the ensuing inbounds pass and go coast to coast to get the Bears their second straight win and their 14th win over Bryant in the last 16 games between the two programs.

The Leaders

The Bears were led by freshman Joshua Howard, who poured in 18 points on 8 of 10 shooting from the field, while Steven Spieth added 16 points and nine assists.

Bryant was led by Zouzoua who poured in 31 points on 8 of 20 shooting from the field and 10 of 11 from the free throw line. This was Zouzoua's second 30 point game in his last three games.
