LaDontae Henton
The Providence College Friars men's basketball team (19-8,9-5) cruised to an 84-57 road win over (12-15, 6-8) DePaul on Wednesday night. The Friars have now won two straight games and sit in third place in the Big East.

With the game tied at nine, a DePaul turnover led to a LaDontae Henton layup to put PC up 11-9. That layup sparked a 15-3 Friar run to put them up 24-12 in the first half with just under eight minutes to go.

The Friars increased their lead while DePaul struggled to figure out the PC zone defense and never threatened  the growing Friars lead for the rest of the game. PC led 41-26 at the half and cruised to the win in the second.

LaDontae Henton led Providence with 22 points and 11 rebounds while Kris Dunn added 21 points, four assists, four steals and four rebounds to help lead the Frairs.

DePaul was led by Billy Garrett Jr. who netted 11 points.

PC returns to action on February 24 when they visit #6 Villanova. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
